St. Joseph: Had low fishing pressure. A few lake trout were taken in 110 to 140 feet. Perch fishing was on the slow side but anglers did find some fish south of the piers in 60 feet. Pedestrian Struck By Car In Benton Harbor Tuesday.
On Tuesday at 8:35PM, Officers of the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety responded to a call of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle near the intersection of Main Street and Fair Avenue. Officers arrived to find an 18 year old male had been struck by a motor vehicle. The young man was taken by Medic 1 Ambulance to Lakeland Hospital where he succumb to his injuries. Police Make Arrest After Home Invasion In Cass County, Still Looking For Driver.
In Cass County, Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that his office investigated a Home Invasion which occurred on Dailey Rd, near Pokagon Hwy in Lagrange Twp, on Wednesday morning at 8:30am. The suspects fled from the victims home in a vehicle and were intercepted by a Cass County Sheriff’s Unit. M.S.P Patrolmen Timothy O’Neil Dead After On Duty Crash Yesterday In Kent County
The Michigan State Police (MSP) confirmed on Wednesday Timothy O’Neil of the Rockford Post has passed away as a result of injuries sustained in an on-duty motorcycle crash Wednesday morning in Kent County. O’Neill was on patrol on his department motorcycle when he was involved in a crash.No one else was injured, and the crash remains under investigation.
